PRESERVING OLDSMOBILE'S HERTITAGE

We as Oldsmobile owners and enthusiast now have the responsibility of preserving Oldsmobile's heritage, and it's important contributions, and automotive first's "SHE" has made to it. Just to name a few, the first horseless carriage, back in 1886, and the first production line in 1900.

Oldsmobile is a piece of Americana. It has been a leader, an innovator, and a true icon in the automotive industry.

As long as "WE" keep putting the love we have into these fine automobiles and our hobby, and keep caring for these cars like "WE" do, we will be in essence preserving Oldsmobile's fine history and heritage, and "HER" just place in automotive world.

Remember, as long as there is one Oldsmobile out they're still alive and kicking, "SHE" can never die …like a departed loved one, a family member who has past, they live on forever, in our thoughts, memories, and the stories we tell of them and pass on to others. I know I have lots of stories and memories about the Oldsmobile's in my life to tell and pass on.

Times that by all of us in the Hurst / Olds Club of America, The Oldsmobile Club of America, and its state chapters and clubs throughout America, collectors and enthusiast alike, now that's a lot of stories to tell! As long as the stories are told, cars to be driven, and cars to be shown, Oldsmobile can "NEVER" ever die.

I'm 37, and have loved these fine automobiles for my whole life literally. I 'm proud to say I grew up with "My Fathers Oldsmobile's", owned them, cared for them, and enjoyed them, and you know what, "There is a special feel in an Oldsmobile!"

"WE" as owners of these fine automobiles have the privilege of continuing to enjoy them anytime "WE" want.

Like so many of you out there, I bleed "Rocket Red", and that's why we're all sadden by the very "POOR" decision GM has made to phase out "OUR" beloved Oldsmobile, the "MOTHER" of all our cars.

May "SHE" live on forever in our hearts and our souls, and may the stories "NEVER" stop being told... I love you "MOM", and "WE" will miss you dearly.
